Our cohorts engage in a variety of activities that provide them with a theoretical understanding and foundation in science. We offer a practical approach to science that engages our youth in numerous hands-on, practical experiments that simulate a day in the life of a woman in successful STEM career.We hope that you will be able to take part by volunteering, donating, or mentoring in one or more of the many exciting opportunities that we are offering this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our mission.
Acids and bases, astrobiology, density, DNA extraction and forensic science are just a few of the vibrant topics we plan workshops, courses and field trips around. Our approach to science makes it fun and engaging for our youth and dispel any stereotypes that discourage young women from envisioning themselves as the scientists of the future.
